Fossil & Prairie Park And Center
Near Rockford, the park is managed by the Floyd County Conservation Board and features geological wonders dating back to the Devonian Period, over 350 million years ago.
Charles City Arts Center
Is a restored 1904 Carnegie library building that features regional artists and monthly exhibits alongside workshops and classes. Open Wed-Fri 1-5 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. 301 North Jackson St. (641) 228-6284.
Floyd County Historical Museum

The Cable Stay Footbridge
Located at the west end of Clark Street in Charles City, the bridge is in the National Register of Historic Places. The 267-foot span over the Cedar River was built so that local residents could attend Chautauqua lectures, entertainment, and tent revival meetings.

There are many parks in Charles City, including a new outdoor aquatic facility. Wildwood Park and Golf Course is among the few municipal golf courses in the U.S. listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
Charles Theater
