In 1995, the Carrie Chapman Catt Girlhood Home, constructed in 1866, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in recognition of its unique place in architectural and social history. The home today is maintained by the National 19th Amendment Society, a volunteer, not-for-profit organization.
Members provide financial and volunteer support to maintain the home and to tell the story of the struggle for woman suffrage.
For more information about the Society, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (641) 228-3336. Thank you for your support!
